More Information
Divine Worship – Holy Eucharist and Sermon
A service of worship, praise and thanksgiving in which we commemorate God’s saving grace through the sacrament of Christ’s body and blood. The service is anchored by an exposition of, and meditation on the Word of God.
Evangelistic Services
On select Sundays, the worship experience is expressed in terms of a free flowing liturgy of praise, prayer, personal testimonies and the proclamation of the Gospel, as the Holy Spirit directs us.
Family Sunday
On a fifth Sunday we worship together as individual families as well as a corporate family. The worship encourages and supports active involvement of families as lectors, greeters, ushers, and presenters of the offerings of bread, wine and money.
Sunday School
A nurturing environment for the spiritual growth of our children is provided in our Youth Sunday School. Members of the Sunday school are encouraged to actively participate in the service as lectors, ushers, intercessors and altar servers among other ministries.
Christian Education
Christian Education promotes a non intimidatingenvironment in which members of the congregation live, learn, love and grow together in Christ.
Bible Study
This is a programme of systematic study of books of the Bible. Bible study is opened to all and facilitates discussions, sharing of thoughts and experiences, contextual readings and contemporary application.
Fasting Services/Prayer Vigil
Prayer vigils are held twice in Lent, and once during Advent. Fasting services are usually held during special church seasons, before healing services and during times of personal and national crises.
Fellowship Evenings
Fellowship evenings are designed to encourage congregants to spend time with one another outside of the church and worship encounter. These are held bimonthly at the rectory around worship, fellowship meal, laughter family feud and other games.
Healing Services
In healing services we fulfill God’s will in Jesus Christ, by whose stripes we are healed. We encourage and support healing in body, mind and spirit through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Weddings, Baptism, Counseling
Marriage and Baptism are sacraments of the Church undergirded by counseling services that seek to clarify Christ’s purpose in these sacraments and to deepen the understanding of persons who are committing themselves to marriage or baptism.
